A remarkable combination of marterials and finishes

Famed dutch designer Remy Meijers has designed some of the most amazing projects. For his own residence at the canals of Utrecht he chose a Sensofloor in a discreet warm shade of grey.

Shades of Grey

In his new book 'shades of grey,' Remy talks about his subdued use of colour. His design is modest but has considerable tension, made by the an intelligent use of material and sheen. That is why his designs have a rich and warm feel to them.

Senso Fusion

Remy had his colour specially designed for him. He chose a Fusion of two warm shades of grey which matched perfectly with the excisting elements such as the kitchen, cabinets and furniture.

Cooking frenzy

Despite his very busy life there is not a day that Remy and his wife do not enjoy good food. The feel it is important to use natural and biological ingredients very consciously. The kitchen therefore plays a central part in the design. They often loose themselves in cooking and much to the amusement of the visitors, with a couple of glasses of good wine and interesting conversation, they won't make it to the dinner table. They just stay at the bar, enjoying great company and food.
